Exquisite, quarter sawn Mahogany back and sides. Hand selected, Alaskan Spruce top. Marquetry rope top purfling, tortoise shell top and back binding. Ebony face plate with pearl Ko'olau logo inlay. Ebony fingerboard with pearl position dots and ebony bridge and bridge pins with pearl dot inlay. Bone nut and saddle. Gold Grover geared tuners. Finished with a Semi-Gloss Oil Varnish. Includes a Ko'olau hardshell case. Special "Certificate of Authenticity" label attached inside, stating that instrument was built to the exact specifications of Mr. Ritz' Ko'olau Tenor, and signed by Mr. Lyle Ritz.

Lyle Ritz is known throughtout the world as one of the original "masters" of the 'ukulele. Also a professional bass player, Ritz has performed and recorded with the 'ukulele for over 40 years.
