Anuhea was born Rylee Anuheake'alaokalokelani Jenkins in 1985 on the island of Maui. Gifted with a beautiful voice and musical talents, Anuhea taught herself guitar and began writing music. Several members of her family are also professional musicians, including her dad's sister, Nalani Choy of the band Na Leo Pilimehana.
 

As of the beginning of June 1st, 2009 Anuhea has achieved the status of #7 of the top 100 iTunes.

Currently Anuhea plays a Ko'olau 'IO guitar, a Pono OOO Koa guitar, and a Pono Concert size (00) Mango guitar.
