We are proud to have Cecilio Rodriquez now as Ko'olau guitar endorsement. Mr. Rodriquez has become part of Hawaii's music "hall of fame" not only as a professional solo performer and recording artist, but of course, being a part of the legendary duo, Cecilio and Kapono, or affectionately known as C & K. Cecilio Rodriquez began a career in the Los Angeles area performing with the likes of Little Anthony and the Imperials and Sonny Charles, but then in 1973 something changed, he moved to Oahu and met Henry Kapono, and everything about the two was complimentary. C & K was born.
In addition to Cecilio's solo career, he and Henry Kapono still arrange to play concerts together at least once a year. Cecilio is also a supporter of Easter Seals Hawaii. Having been involved in the education system for many years, and in particular special education, he has contributed as a host for the "Taste of Honolulu" and recently voluntarily performed along with Henry Kapono for HART (Hawaii Autism Resource Team) at their "Kanikapila Benefit for Autism" at Pipeline Cafe. In response to such generosity, Ko'olau Guitar & 'Ukulele Company will be announcing soon that a portion of all proceeds from the sale of Ko'olau and Pono guitars and 'ukuleles will be donated to Autism research.
