Mr. Kapono has won several Na Hoku Hano Hano awards for male vocal vocalist of the year, song of the year, and album of the year. Author of children books and TV and movie actor. Began his musical career playing 'ukulele, as with most children of Hawaii, being taught 'ukulele by his father. After performing as a solo guitarist and singer, Henry eventually joined up with Cecilio Rodriquez, and the two blended talents to become Hawaii's largest recording artists. After 12 duo albums, Henry went on to record 14 of his own solo albums to date.
