Joe Craven
Joe Craven is the mult-instrumentalist
of all time. Although his main instruments are violin, mandolin,
guitars, now an ukulele, and percussion, he claims to be able to
play anything, tin cans, bed pans, cookie tins, just about
anything. Besides playing with the David Grisman Quintet for over
18 years, Joe has play with Jerry Garcia, Stephan Grappelli, Alison
Brown, Rob Ickes, and Mike Marshall. He recently played in Hawaii
with Alison Brown and picked up ukuleles from us, and now he and
Alison use them in concerts and recordings.
