Solid Body Electric Tenor Cutaway

  This instrument is the last of our 2003 Custom Limited Edition. It blends several models, so we have simply named it “Solid Body Electric Custom”.  The overall appearance of this ‘ukulele is truly “custom”, unique, and wildly exotic. 

  The neck is mahogany with face plate of spalted Koa.  Spalted is the term given to wood that results from  bends and twists in a tree, producing the wildest and most unusual grain patterns.  The face plate has our Ko’olau inlay in pearl, fingerboard has pearl position dots. 

  The body is a combination of Mahogany, with alternate strips of Koa, and top is spalted Koa.  Body is finished in a High Gloss Lacquer and Neck has an Oil Varnish for ease of playability.  Grover gold tuners and Ko’olau gold strings. 

  Amplification system is an active EMF B-Band with volume, bass, and treble controls.
