Manufactured for Ko'olau 'Ukulele in Korea. Pickup has four individual, highly sensitive piezo sensor pads. Each sensor is mounted inside a silver plated housing for better tone and string balance. And for ease of installation, there is no soldering necessary. Just install the pickup into the correct width saddle slot, then plug the mini jack into the end jack.

Although for most sound applications the Pono Pickup is adequate, the pickup can be modified to become what is termed "active" by the use of any high quality Outboard Pre-Amp.
