Sage

When Josh Schiaretti, Dave Polo, Ben Pfeiffer and Dana Miller are on stage, they want to see people dancing. When their lyrics, harmony and bass synchronize, people of all ages catch on. Everyone wants to dance, and that's exactly why Sage the Band does what they do so well.

Who are they? Sage the Band are Ukulele experts who have been rocking fans since 2005. With specialty ukes made custom for the band, a string sponsor in Italy, and a lifetime of experience, these boys bring style and sophistication to the small instrument's subtle and soft tradition. It's clear by the way they play that the Ukulele isn't some toy you pick up on vacation. Their sound is loud, deep and rich with culture and soul. The unique range is an uplifting alternative to music's mainstream.

Their connection to the instrument has always been strong. As kids
they rarely left home without it: taking it to school, strapping it to their backpacks, playing it at home, on the beach, on the road, anywhere.
What started as a promise between brothers has turned into something big. When they agreed to move from the islands to the mainland, they brought their music, passion and experience to the world. After five years, a self-produced album and hundreds of local shows, Sage has come into their own. They've worked hard to refine their soft, sweet island sound into the bass-thumping, head-bobbing, funky Ukulele rock-party it is today.
