Inlays By Taj

Some of our instruments come with specialty inlays designed in house by Taj Bonk. You can find them on some special instruments. Yet, if you have an idea for a custom inlay we offer a full range of custom inlays on any model of our instruments. It can be something big or something small. If you have an idea we can work with you to bring it to life and make it just how you envision. Give us a description, photo or concept and we’ll send you different sketches and work with you on making it perfect. Inlays come made with a wide variety of materials including various colors and types of shells, stones, woods and more.

Inlays made over the years

All inlays are specialty designed and then cut into individual pieces that are inlayed into a pocket

The pieces are then carefully assembled and glued, ready for final sanding

In the end, the final cuts and adjustments are made, and ready to be completed with the rest of the instrument
